About myself… I am in my middle thirties, training in London to become a counsellor. Planning one day to work with children and victims of abuse. Hard job, I know, but I guess it’s my ‘calling’. I am intense, dark, complicated but can be funny and light too (as my passion for Hello Kitty and karaoke attest – I can hog the microphone for hours, I assure you!).
I have a passion for humanities as you might have realised by now - although I can't get most of philosophical theories - and have studied the Latin and Greek Classics. For how intelligent I might be, I have serious problems with all matters of science (mathematics, even at ridiculous levels, don't ever ask me to work out a percentage, the results would be beyond embarrassing, physics, biology and so forth). Maybe to make up for this my favourite show of the last 4 years is The Big Bang Theory. As if I will ever be able to absorb their genius by simply watching it. Wishful thinking!
The people who inspire me are the ones who get up and stand up for themselves and the others. People like Julian Assange come to mind. More on me can be found on Introduction.
